“The time is out of joint”, yesterday dances with tomorrow. Liquid Loft and PHACE join forces for a study in Straussian esprit and euphoria. Be embraced, you millions (1892) was composed in a spirit of idealism and universal reconciliation, the title coming from another vision of a “better world”, Schiller’s Ode to Joy. In this creative engagement with Strauss’ late work, electronic ready-mades combine with live music, the dancers and performers uniting sound and motion in the ballroom of historical futurism.
