J’AIME explores the joy of dancing, of being watched while dancing, and of watching the dance. This high-energy dance performance to techno music by DJ Assault from Detroit creates an experience of shared sensuality. The performance composes a clearly structured story of and about movement, music and the strong female element in it.
KOMPOSITION is about four women coming together – or more precisely, “dancing together”. Constantly present on stage, they emphasize their differences without making comparisons. They meet and touch each other, dance together, condense gestures until they are surprised by their own activity.
MAGICAL uses the canon of feminist performance art and the rituals of a magic show to play with illusion, trickery and transformation. Juren devotes herself to the effectiveness and secrets of the female body in an enchantingly spectacular way.
