MOPCUT is a powerful and versatile experimental-noise-imrov formation constisting of the three internationally renown musicians  Lukas König, Audrey Chen, and Julien Desprez – will present their second Album ”JITTER” (a cooperation between the Viennese Label Ventil-Records and British Opal Tapes). Therefore they will be accompanied by advanced laser projections controlled by BR Laser. Together they will create an holistic scenario full of noise, electronic beats and flickering lights. Improvisation at its very best. MOPCUT has been touring internationally at Festival such as Jazz-Festival Saalfelden, Donau-Festival, Cafe OTO – London, Sonic-Protest Paris to name only a few.

The concert-night will be opened by a live performance of Victoria Shen (evicshen) from San Francisco.

Evicshen is an experimental music performer, sound artist, and instrument-maker based in San Francisco. Shen’s work features analog modular synthesizers (Flower Electronics), amplified objects, and other self-built electronics. The resulting music eschews conventions in harmony and rhythm in favor of extreme textures and gestural tones.
